I've been a photographer for about eight years now, and the thing I chase hasn't changed much in that time: the real moment, not the posed one. The laugh before someone remembers the camera is there. The exact split-second a ball leaves a hand. The quiet in-between that everyone else in the room missed.
I shoot portraits, candids, and sports around Renton and the greater Seattle area, and I named this studio after a phrase I keep coming back to: ichigo ichie — one moment, one lifetime. Every session, every game, every sitting only happens once. My job is to make sure it doesn't just disappear.
